'FOTO' - A Collection of Art by Eric Canete (2011) 8.5 x 8.5 in (21.6 x 21.6 cm) - Full color cover, full color interior pages on vellum, heavy stock. 64 pages. €25.00+ shipping and handling. Available at Lucca Comics & Games 2011, exclusively from Lateral Studio.
And the people who are responsible for inviting me to experience such an exciting event (not to mention the ones who'll be responsible for curbing my embarrassing tendencies) are Messrs. ALESSANDRO VITTI and ELIA BONETTI - both of whom are part of LATERAL STUDIO. They were kind enough to publish a book featuring my grey marker illustrations and I will be at their table at specific times the entire weekend of the convention, signing and drawing sketches for those who are kind enough to visit.
(It should be noted that I've never included my grey-tone marker sketches in any of my previous books - not even in monster that is ENCORE. And as per my agreement with Alessandro and the guys at Lateral, no incarnation of this book nor its contents will ever be published elsewhere except through his company. 'Exclusive to Lateral' means they get the goods. Exclusively.)

So, yeah. I'm going to go and make a complete fool of myself on a whole different continent.
Anyhoo.
'FOTO' is a collection specially designed for Lateral to debut at Lucca Comics & Games, and afterwards to be distributed for the European market exclusively. Simply put, it won't be available anywhere here in the US. But if you'd like to get your hands on a copy, please feel free to click the link above and contact Lateral Studio directly - I'm sure they'd be more than happy to send out a copy to you (with the proper international S&H charges, of course).
I would like to thank all of you in advance for taking the time to drop by and say 'Hello!' at the show. I'd like to warn you now that my Italian is piss-poor at best. And at worst, it's gonna get me to accidentally donate my liver and then drafted onto a ship full of Spanish pirates. That said...
"Grazie mille, i miei amici. Yo tengo un gato negro in mi pantalones."*
*Only a part of that gratitude is applicable, Italia. The other part is just nonsense or a weird pick-up line for those same Spanish pirates.
