“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

[9 x 12" - blue pencil, brush & technical pen, COPIC marker on 300lb bristol board]

"..something, something...lamentation of their women."

PS - As a kid, I used to think he said 'lamination of their women' - which seemed more painful-er.

Hello from Spain Eric! Congratulations for your art, this last batch you published here is so great! This Conan rocks!
Hearing you quote the first Conan film, I would strongly advice that you AVOID the new one... unless someone else is paying for the tickets! Believe me, the new film it makes the Milius one look like if it was THE GODFATHER!
Best of luck!

I just discovered your work and I had to leave a comment. Your style is really fantastic and your knowledge of anatomy really shows. Thanks for the inspiration!
