“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

[12 x 9" - blue pencil, brush & technical pen on bristol board]

It could be argued that if I don't like it, then I don't necessarily need to read it. That's very valid.

Ah. Fanfic porn. I love you.

PS - I think I did it wrong; I actually showed her face in the first panel instead of just... you know... not.

How dare you show her face. That is completely the wrong way to do this fanfic porn.

By the way, thought this was brilliant and hit the nail on the head.

Hahaha. Brilliant and amusing.

Great art. And you know why I'm appreciating this instead of raising hell? Context and intent. Yours rocks. The original? Not so much.

And yeah, you did it "wrong." Not just because of the face. The banter here had more personality for both Batman and Catwoman than the entire comic book did.

Brilliant. Seriously.

And how could you know whether you would like it or not until you read it? It was issue #1, after all.
