“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

SERRA, KOJ, JAREK_90 minutes
[9 x 12" - blue pencil, brush & technical pen on 300lb bristol board]
Sometimes, there is nothing left to do but wait.
But if we are lucky, we can wait in a field of fireflies.

WOW!! Simply gorgeous.
just...gorgeous, eric~!
mike woulda LOVED this.
thanks.
A beautiful tribute.
Wonderful!
I've looked at your work and thought: Hey, I can do that.
Then I look at the amount of time you spent on it. Plus the amount of references you've got in your head that allows you to do it in 90 minutes.
Then I realize that I can't do it (at least not yet) and you're really pretty accomplished.
INCREDIBLE illustrations !
Have a great weekend.
Breathtakingly beautiful.
