“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

Remember how I said that Eric would be back in a month? And that he needed to take all of March off so that he could focus on his other projects and that he couldn't update his blog as much as he used to? Yeah, that's still true and March is almost over, but I think his "return" is going to take a whole lot longer than previously expected. Exactly how long is still unclear, but please bear with him as he's going through a slight transitional period.

So he's going to be gone for a little bit longer and we're hoping the soon-to-be lack luster frequency of art updates on this blog won't put you guys off too much from coming back to visit. We'll be updating you on the conventions that we'll be attending during the year and I have a few more images outside of this one that I'll be able to post during the interim, so it won't be a complete drought. Until then, here's an AWESOME (the original measures 17x22") commission image Eric did while he was in MegaCon, Orlando.

Thanks for checking in, one and all!

that's a hell of an illustration!

Tell EC to just chill and do what he needs to do.
We'll be here when he returns.

Eric's work is amazing, could you email me on how much a commission of this caliber would cost?

Any chance of a print run??
