“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

THE BAT & THE ARROW_commission

Apparently, this commission is also a year behind from getting to its client. And apparently, Eric is still crazy enough to do two of them. Enjoy.

Those pics are tight! Loving Green Arrow in both.

Eric, I love your work and all, but you really need to do something about being such a bloody perfectionist (and that's the pot calling the kettle black right there).

Both of these images are fantastic! I'm sure you are behind in your commissions due to a long backlog, but is your perfectionism the main reason for the size of the backlog? Your fans would be thrilled to have something half as good as this, I'm sure, and while I can appreciate you not wanting your name on something you're not entirely satisfied with, do you think maybe you could stand to ease up a bit on yourself?

I'm just saying. Maybe it could be your New Year's resolution?

Awesomeness. The fat utility belt is great.
