“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

THE NYMPH_sketch
I don't think this fellow is resisting. I think he likes it.
Hi Eric, thanks a lot for the visit and post. Glad you liked the new pages. I was actually very influenced by the way you finish your work! The sketches look awesome as always. The octopus-mermaid like woman reminded me that we are having a mermaid theme on a collective blog: http://tntema.blogspot.com I did a painting, and there are some nice stuff (and some not so nice). I love the way the figures lean toward each other on a sort of circular composition.
thanks for the comment! i've saved pretty much every drawing you've posted, and have several taped up on my wall right now. your linework, poses, character design, it's all amazing. keep it up, i'll be following your work
I am a long time lurker to your blog man- You're stuff is very inspiring and SO well thought out it's crazy sometimes. It's like visual poetry. I love it.
bringing up the rear again... i like the way you composed this piece. you created a strong interaction between the two characters. an almost attraction...
