“Today, in our field, there is so much talent and recognition that we are reaching a saturation point. An artist should no longer strive only for breathtaking craftsmanship; he should, instead, try to help us live better, either by dressing the wounds that are constantly being opened by society, or by offering solutions to get us out of the mess we’re in…But it’s going to be difficult and we have a lot of work to do.” - Jean 'Moebius' Giraud

Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow,ooooowwwwww!!!!!!! I've been stung by jellyfish before. That would have to be painfull. In response to an earlier post, Aquaman might have been cooler if he had used something like this to drown and attack his enemies. Instead he leaves the water and all his power behind. Oh well. Nice illustration. It's cool you had time to color it.

Am I the only one who doesn't find this disturbing? I just think it's a beautiful, swirly portrait of jellyfish love (the platonic kind, ahem -- who knows where those jellyfish have been?). I love the coloring, too.
